Turk The Turtle

My turtle report
Is: Turk the Turtle is a red eared turtle. When Turks shell dries up it goes into a bright blue colour. Turk is nearly 30 years old and is a male that likes to swim around in he's awesome big dark tank. Turk is an omnivore.
Has: Turk has a shell and flipper feet. His hard shell is to protect him. He has a tank in A3. Turk has a tail, sharp claws and a long stretchy neck. As you know Turk is a red eared turtle.
Eats: Turk eats fruit, vegetables, plants, turtle pellets, meat and fish. It looks like Turk has a small mouth but Turk can fit a hole strawberry in it. Turk eats anything that he gets given.
Live: You can find turtles in water or in a Tank. Turk has rocks, a water filter- to clean out all the junk;  a thermometer to keep the temperature even for him.
Does: Turk swims around in his tank and splashes around. Turk always puts his head up when we are singing in the morning, and he loves to come out and play with us. Turk also loves to run around in the class room. Another thing that Turk can do is flip- over when we put Turk on his back and then when he is ready Turk flips back over. He is an extremely clever turtle.

  1. Well done Aaliyah. You have listened well to the information that Mrs Burnett gave to you about Turk to include it in your report about Turtles.
